Salisbury Playhouse: One of Britain’s Best Theatres

Congratulations to Salisbury Playhouse who were listed as one of Britain’s Best Regional Theatres in today’s Daily Telegraph.

The article, by Dominic Cavendish, praised Artistic Director Gareth Machin and the Playhouse’s programme for the upcoming year – including “a special staging of Oh What a Lovely War to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War. ”

This production of Oh What A Lovely War will be a joint project by Salisbury Playhouse, Stage 65 and Musical Theatre Salisbury for one week only and the opening night is scheduled for the exact anniversary of Britain’s entry into the First World War.
